Flower Care Instructions

1. Prepare Your Vase
Fill a clean vase with cool, fresh water, about 2/3 full. Add the provided flower food and stir until it is fully dissolved. Be sure to check water levels regularly, topping up as needed.

Β

2. Trim The Stems
Using a sharp knife or floral shears, trim 2-3 cm off each stem at a 45Β° angle before placing them in the water. This encourages maximum water absorption. Re-trim stems every few days for optimal freshness.

Β

3. Remove Foliage And Guard Petals
Remove any leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial buildup. For roses, gently remove outer guard petals to help them bloom beautifully. Dispose of any wilting flowers promptly to keep the bouquet looking fresh.

Β

4. Keep Your Vase And Water Clean
To extend the life of your flowers, change the water every 1-2 days. Keep the vase clean to reduce bacteria, which can shorten the lifespan of your flowers. Replace cloudy water immediately to maintain clarity.

Β

5. Flower Placement
Display your flowers in a cool, well-lit area, away from direct sunlight, drafts, and any sources of heat like fires or radiators. Avoid placing your arrangement near ripening fruit, which emits ethylene gas and can speed up wilting.

Β

6. Handle Lilies With Care
Our lilies arrive in bud form for extended freshness. As they bloom, carefully remove the pollen-filled anthers with a tissue to prevent staining.

Β

7. Avoid Metal Containers
Place your flowers in glass or ceramic vases, as metal containers can neutralize the flower food and affect flower longevity.

Β

8. Regular Maintenance
Check the water level and freshness daily, adding more water as needed. Trim stems and remove any spent blooms to keep your arrangement vibrant.

Β

9. Flower Food
Follow the instructions on the flower food packet carefully, and use only the recommended amount. Some flowers, like tulips and other bulb varieties, do not require flower food.

Β

10. Ethylene Gas Warning
Keep your flowers away from ripening produce, as it emits ethylene gas, which can accelerate wilting.
